Hwange National Park is the largest natural reserve in Zimbabwe . The park lies in the west, on the main road between Bulawayo and the Victoria falls . The Hide
Based in the beautiful Hwange National Park and is family owned, consists of a few lodging options:
The Hide Safari Camp- sleeps up to 20 guests in 10 comfortable and spacious deluxe en-suite tents. The tents have differentconfigurations with indoor and/or outdoor bathtubs and showers.
Toms little hide- As a family-owned camp, families gathering and sharing the life-changingexperience of being on safari together. And Tom’s Little Hide is perfect, especially as children ofall ages are welcome here. Built as a tribute to Tom Preston, Tom’s Little Hide is a beautifullyauthentic safari house set just along from The Hide. 3 large adjacent rooms, all en suite, waterhole views. Accommodates up to 10 guests (6 adults, 4 children). Additionally they have a Private splash pool, private dining, private guide and vehicle, up to 4 activities/excursions per day, including game drives, walking, visits to our community projects or Painted Dog centre.Children of all ages welcome. Children under 10 stay FREE!
The doves nest treehouse- The little secret, the Dove’s Nest, is a private treehouse allowing you to get away from it all. Overlooking the open tree-linedvlei and pan where giraffe andelephants commonly come todrink, this rustic gem isa perfectvantage point from which to viewwildlife safely, quietly. Just thetwo of you. Asa tree houseshould be, the bedroom of theDove’s Nest is reached byawooden stairway and withaclosable door. Private hide- With 360-degree views and the waterhole nearby, ThePrivate Hide provides a spectacular space away from it all. Here you can quietly watch theanimals and birds, dine exclusively, celebrate a special occasion, relax with cocktails, sitaround the glowing fire pit • Children of all ages welcome. Best suited for a maximum of 6 adults and up to 4 children (10 guests in total). MIN 2 full paying adults per booking. A booking for 8 adults is possible by incorporating Tents 4, 5, 6, 7.
Additionally to this , there is a underground hide and wine cellar. "A tunnel to a window on the waterhole". Taking you that much closer the spectacular wildlife that come to the watering hole , great for up close and personal encounters and photographers !
Khulu Bush camp
Khulu Bush Camp reflects Africa’s timelesswonder and natural beauty, providing you with the ultimate and utterly unforgettable safariexperience. Located on a private concession of 6000hcrs in Hwange National Park.
7 bespoke,thatched, safari style suites built onto platformsand 2 luxury honeymoon suite. The rooms areelegant and contemporary with minimal impact tothe surroundings and environment. Each unit hasan indoor and outdoor shower, balcony for gameviewing as well as an individual tea and coffeeservice. The beds are twins but can all be converted to kingsized for double occupancy. Each suite consists ofinside & outside showers, complimentary mini bars& Nespresso machines and the honeymoon suitealso has an outside bath. The camp has a totalcapacity of only 18 people.No children under 12 unless entire camp is bookedexclusively.
The camp's main area provides a full bar witha wide variety of local and imported beveragesas well as a tea and coffee station. There is aplunge pool located on the deck of the mainarea as well as a fire pit for stargazing andnightcaps. There is borehole water availablethroughout the camp and an onsite laundryservice.
Ivory Lodge
Ivory Lodge is located in the forested area on the outskirts of Hwange National Park. It offers family-friendly safari experiences and is famous for its exhilarating up-close sightings of the Presidential Elephant Herd. The Lodge comprises of a Main Thatched dining and lounge area overlooking a guest swimming pool with uninterrupted views of a watering hole which is frequented by elephants, predators and a number of plains game species. The rooms themselves are creatively built on stilted wooden platforms offering elevated views of the open watering hole in front of camp.
9 thatched tree-house style rooms with a total capacity of20 people.
3 are double rooms which have queen size beds, 3 are twins with two single beds, 1 family orientated room with two double beds and lastly, we have two tented suites, both having queen size beds. All rooms are fitted with mosquito nets and all rooms are fairly open, therefore we provide electric blankets during our winter months. The lodges have a scenic view of the waterhole, offering our guests a more intimate safari experience
Deteema Springs Camp
Is located near the Deteema dam in north western Hwange National Park. This areais famous for its large concentrations of animals, including elephant. Due to the existence of year round waterseeps, this area is ideal for walking and game drives, producing incredible wildlife sightings.

Verneys Camp
Verney’s Camp is based in a private concession in theheart of Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. The Camp is located at Verney’s Pan,which is situated on a large open floodplain surrounded by teak forest typicalof Hwange National Park. The waterhole at Verney’s plays host to numerousanimals and is a playground for the famous elephant herds of Hwange
Ten tents aretucked away perfectly under the shady arms of the teak trees bordering the openwaterhole in front of camp. Each tent has been carefully positioned to ensurethe best serenity and privacy so that guests can enjoy the natural beauty ofthe area. Each room is comfortably appointed and has en suite shower, flushtoilet, and double vanity which are all beautifully designed to retain theauthenticity and magical feeling of being on safari. Verney’s Camp has eightdouble/twin rooms and two family rooms, all of which are on wooden decks, andare connected by natural pathways on the ground.
Deka Camp
Resting on the top of the low foothills in the far northwest of Hwange National Park, is Deka Camp. Probably the remotest camp inHwange, this area offers guests an opportunity to walk and game drive some ofthe wildest areas in Southern Africa. The camp is situated in our own privateconcession in Hwange National Park so allows us the opportunity to do nightdrives as well. The small camp consists of eight units, made of thatch, localrock and canvas. Ideal for taking the whole camp for groups, this unique placewill captivate you. Big sky country is what sums up this wild area. The campoverlooks the Deka floodplains and seeps which are the head waters of the Dekariver.
The style of the camp is local rock and canvas walls with thatch roofs. Theunits are small but offer every comfort one could need. Hot and cold runningwater, flush toilet, comfortable beds with first class linen and views offorever.
The camp is designed to blend with the environment and the stylecompliments this.

Nehimba Lodge
combines luxuryliving, ultimate elegance and African charm to provide you with an exceptional safari experience. Located on a huge private concession in the northern part of Hwange National Park .
1 hour small plane charter from Victoria Falls to Hwange Main Camp Airport followed by a 2-2.5 hour drive into camp, or a 1 hour small plane charter from Victoria Falls to Giraffe Springs Airstrip followed by a 20 minute drive into camp (Giraffe Springs is seasonal).
Distances by road: Victoria Falls – Mbala Gate 130 km, and 95 km through the Park. Victoria Falls – Main Camp 185 km, and 60 km through the Park (4x4 is not necessary). Bulawayo - Main Camp 285 km, and 60 km through the Park. Bulawayo – Mbala Gate 370 km, and 95 km through the Park (4x4 is not necessary).
There are 9 spacious canvas under thatchtents are built on teak decks and along with the guest area, overlook the magnificent lodge pan, which is frequented by largenumbers of elephants, particularly in the dry season.

Bomani Tented Lodge
This luxurious tented lodge is situated in a private concession of the magnificent Ngamo Plains, on the edge of the remote and unspoiltsouth eastern corner of Hwange National Park.
Situated on a 5000 acre private reserve within the Ngamo Forest Area, on the edge of the south eastern corner of Hwange National Park.
4 - 5 hour road transfer from Victoria Falls or Bulawayo.Distances by road: Victoria Falls – Halfway House 225 km, and 40 kmthrough Forestry (4x4). Bulawayo – Kenmaur 170 km, and 68 km on Somgolo Road via Gwaai Siding and Sipepa growthpoint (4x4). 4 - 5 hour road and rail transfer from Victoria Falls.

3 x Saddlebill Twin Tents: 50 sq m with views across the Ngamo Plain to Bomani Pan, raised teak deck, twin double beds, standing fan, en suite shower, toilet and basin.
2 x Saddlebill Double Tents: 48 sq m with views across the Ngamo Plain to Bomani Pan, raised teak deck, standing fan, en suite shower, toilet and basin. One of the rooms has a double bed, the other a kingsize bed.
1 x Sable Suite (Family Suite): 250 sq m tent structure built on a raised wood deck composed of four sections. Two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and the other with twin ¾ beds. Both bedroom units have over head fans and en suite bathrooms with toilet, basin, a bath and outdoor shower. The suite is completed with a din- ing and lounge area with a veranda deck and views cross the plains (2 extra ¾ beds can be placed in the lounge area so the family suite can accommodate 6 pax).
There is a Splash pool set in raised wooden deck overlooking the lodge waterhole. Main lodge comprising open fronted thatch building with teak viewing deck overlooking the lodge waterhole as well as a Bar, lounge and dining room with overhead fans.
Camelthorn Lodge
This flagship lodge is nestled in a patch of pristine woodland just west of the famous Ngamo Plains on the edge of the south easterncorner of Hwange National Park. The lodge is unique in its style and design and has as its centre piece a huge ancient Camelthorntree. On the edge of the Ngamo Plain, and strategically placed to explore the remote and unspoilt south eastern portion of the park,Camelthorn offers a spectacular wilderness experience.
4 - 5 hour road transfer from Victoria Falls or Bulawayo.
