Mana Pools National Park and Zambezi River

Mana Pools National Park is in the far north of Zimbabwe. It includes the south bank and islands of the Zambezi River, which forms the border with Zambia. The park is known for wildlife visibility beside the river and in the flood plains. Large populations of elephants, hippos and Nile crocodiles gather at sunrise in the Long Pool.

  Ingwe Pan Camp

 Named after Ingwe pan which is situated in the Wilderness Area of Mana Pools National Park,a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the biggest pans in the area and renowned for its leopard sightingsand the shy antelope such as nyala, who populate the nearby Jesse bush and riverine thickets of the ChiruweRiver. The Pan is surrounded by Jackalberry and Nyala berry trees, with the focal point being a massive Fig tree.   Ingwe Camp is located just 16 km from Mana Pools National Parks Reception Office and just 8 kms from ManaMain airstrip, in the exclusive Wilderness Area. The Camp is situated on the edge of one of the largest Pans in thearea. 

  Luxury tented camp – 8 Tents in Total – Max 16 guests and  No children under 6 yrs of age. 

  Large tented Main Area with outdoor dining, weather permitting.  Meru-Style tents with indoor and outdoor showers and front decks right on the edge of the pan. You will have  Picturesque views over the pan from your rooms as well as Magnificent sunrises.  Game-viewing from your tent deck is always an extra bonus.  


  Mana Pools Safari Lodge 

Nestles close to Mana Pools National Park’s western boundary at the Ruckomeshi River. Set amongst riverine figs,African mango and Apple-ring albida trees, the thatched chalets enjoy commanding views of the sweeping flood plains and mighty ZambeziRiver .

  12 thatched chalets  - These chalets are luxurious chalets all overlooking the plains and the Zambezi River and often greeted by elephants , waterbuck and so much more.

  There is a Main dining, lounge, deck and reception area with a Shaded pool for those extra hot days. WIFI is available in the main dining area.  

There are guided games drives and walks available and included.

These guest tents are  adorned with soft drapery and is replete with air-conditioning, indoor and outdoor shower plus a private viewing deck and plunge pool. Thoughtfully located charging points are placed in your guest tent for those all-important cameras.

Elephants, familiar with the area, like to drop by regularly. Perhaps you will spy them visiting the plunge pool in front of camp or, brushing past your guest tent on their way to the river.
